Web Developer

The position will report to Web & Design co-owner, an experienced manager who has mentored and led top design, user experience and production teams in Australia, the US and the UK for 22 years. They will also liaise closely with our team of developers and producers. As the Web Developer, your responsibilities will include front end web development using our custom WordPress theme to create websites; working with the Production team to finalise sites; assist with a smooth launch process including testing, DNS configuration; and effective client communications. You will also assist the Technical Coordinator with website and hosting server support as required. As the successful candidate you will have a Certificate IV or above in Information Technology, Computer Engineering (or similar) or equivalent professional experience. Your demonstrated experience in building and managing WordPress websites along with your proficiency in programming using HTML, CSS/SASS, Javascript/jQuery, PHP, and mySQL will help you succeed in this role. To become part of the team, you must demonstrate experience as a troubleshooter who can work both collaboratively and independently, while showing great attention to detail, all with a friendly manner. We don’t ask much ;) Working from our Berry, South Coast office is a requirement of the role. Terms Location: Company's studio on Queen Street, Berry. Commencement ASAP (part-time or full-time opportunity depending on the successful candidate). Remuneration: Annual salary from $60,000 depending on skills and experience, plus superannuation, annual leave and $100 per annum health/wellness voucher.
